CNN = Obama's Pocket

While not Keith Olbermann, CNN has long been considered a "left" leaning, progressive news agency.  If you ever doubted that assertion (or even if you haven't) take a look at the following video:

This is reporting the news?  She goes up to a protester and asks why he's there, and doesn't let him say a single word! Then, she tries to placate him with the good news: "you get $400 extra dollars this year!"

I would have paid good money for the reply to have been, "If I wanted to borrow money from China, I would have applied for a loan."

After he begins talking about liberty again, she spouts around and calls this an "anti-government" protest.  Do these look like anarchists?

Furthermore, to characterize these protests as anti-government is a bit absurd.  Where were these claims from CNN anchors when anarchist protestors marched with others against Bush on numerous occasions? The bias is clearly evident.

Finally, this isn't "family viewing"?  No one was there screaming obscenities at the President, unlike this CNN broadcast of the inauguration, where the crowd was described as polite (note, the following video contains several obscenities).

Double Standard?

Finally, while he's beginning to talk about liberty, the "reporter"--using the term loosely--goes on to ask "what does this have to do to with taxes?"

She doesn't get it, and the left doesn't get it either.  When Government excessively coerce's people's earnings and livelihood away from them, people will be angry.  Why? Because this weapon of the State prevents people from doing what they want to do.  It infringes on individual rights and individual choice.  Plainly, that's a bad thing (even kids know this). Why? Because it usually ends up in some sort of revolution, peaceable or otherwise.

I understand the poor reporting.  After all, CNN is more about propping up President Obama's power than actually informing people. Note, I'm not defending Fox News as "fair and balanced" (because it's not).  What I don't understand is the inability to recognize what the protestors are concerned with.  When the people who make news don't get it and the politicians who make laws don't get it, it bodes ill for our nation.
